Crystal Color & Shape Basics

There are endless combinations of crystal types, colors, shapes, and sizes. Because of this, each individual crystal has unique properties and traits that can bring in certain intentions better than others based on their vibrational frequency and overall form. Every crystal is different, but shape and color are a good indicator of the type of intention that the gem has. Outlined below are the basic colors and shapes that most crystals possess, which can guide beginners and knowledgeable crystal owners on what crystals they are in need of.

COLORS

BLACK: If you have been feeling unstable and desire a sense of control in your life, you will benefit from adding more black colored crystals in your collection. These crystals will also help you feel protected from negative energy you may encounter.

BROWN: Many of us struggle with change and transitions and crave a sense of stability in our lives. Often, these periods of time are best met with instability and a lack of support during these times can be best combated with brown colored crystals.
